Anitha
Saying goodbye to Anitha last year was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. For her I had become a friend, a brother and a dad. I remember looking at her as she clung to the gate wishing that she was going home with me, it broke my heart. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to come back against all odds just to fulfill a promise to a little girl. I wondered which of the children would be the first to say I love you. To my surprise just a few days ago Antiha was the first. I had just finished doing henna on her hand she stood up kindly thanked me, went to the door turned and said Rocky enna I love you.
